Left and right cross court

In this drill the coach feeds the ball from the basket. Player A moves to position A1 and hits a forehand cross, then he recovers with side steps. The coach hits another ball in the other side, player moves to position A2, hits a backhand cross and recovers with side steps. The player must always recover with side steps, when the coach launches the ball he should make a split step, run to the ball, hit and recover again.

Optimum number of players 2-6

Obs. We can feed a small amount of balls (6-8) to work on the speed or a large amount (10-20) to work on the resistance. If we have 6 or more players on the court every player should hit 6 balls, then pick-up and go back to the line, this way we don't have a long line of players waiting to hit.
